Pre-Blockade Tasks & Roles (Preparation)

Flag Ambassador: This person will liaise with allies and potential allies about what kind of support you can expect to get from them. The also includes "support" via a mutual ally staying neutral during the blockade contested by two allies. This person will usually be a Royal in the flag and more often will be Monarch as they will need to be fully informed of the previous political dealings and current agreements with other flags. They will also co-ordinate with others in your flag that are asked to rally support from friends. The person undertaking this role will also be able to commit to being online during the blockade to maintain contact with supporting flags. (Probably one of the only roles required to cover pre-blockade and live-blockade)

Dock Spy: This can be one or more people who will continually check the dock to size up the competition's fleet and take note of the ship names and owning crew of anything that's a war brig or larger or where there are a lot of ships from a particular crew appearing. This info can be double-checked using /vwho later because ships can be moved using all sorts of temporary crews or allies. This could be tracked in an spreadsheet with the following fields: Ship Name, Ship Size, Crew, Flag.
